We're going home to visit!

Freedom surprised me last Friday with the news. We're going to be home from Nov 22 to Dec 22. I cannot wait to get home and see the kids and Rachel and also Brenda. Man, It has been a long 8 months. I think going home is the refresher we needed.

This past weekend we went out with a couple I met just recently Melissa and Her husband, as well as another couple that they knew Grace & Fritz. We had a blast. I think with Freedom being sick it hit him harder than usual. But all in all, we had a really good time.

Chey started gymnastics on Monday too, she looked so cute. She seemed to enjoy it also!

Halloween Weekend Re-cap.

This weekend was pretty good. Trick or Treating wasn't until Saturday. Chey had a blast, this is the first year I think she actually grasped what she needed to say, and actually enjoy her candy. We went on Yongsan to just one neighborhood and I think she made out pretty good for an hour of trick or treating.

The aftermath.

We celebrated Freedom's birthday on Friday night for us and the Fam.
Birthday cake (German Chocolate)

Then after that we went out to celebrate Freedom's Birthday. Freedom's friend Rob went with us. I think it's the first time all three of us were able to go out together. We went to Scrooge's and also to Gecko's. We obviously had a good time, almost too good of a time, from the hangover.

There were some people dressed up for Halloween

So that's the recap of our Halloween weekend. It was pretty good. The seasons changing has me down a bit, but I'm sure I'll snap back eventually. Nothing that Wellbutrin can't fix.. hahahaha.

Two more classes down

Hello again peeps. So not much has changed in the past month. I just got done with two more classes trying to get closer to my degree in Information Technology, YAY.. yes people, you were right... I was born to be an internet junkie.

Also, just getting used to living away from Freedom during the week. Ain't gonna lie, it sucks pretty bad and I am COUNTING down the days to get back to the states. The women here are soooo clicky.. aaaaaaaaagggghhhhh. Guess just reminds me why I prefer males as friends as opposed to females. Way to complex. I wonder if I'm so complex and don't even realize it because I'm female.. hahahaha.

Cheyanne's been enjoying Mustard Seed preschool. So far we're both pretty happy with it. I enjoy the time alone. Even if its just to go to the store or grab a bite to eat.. I would've nevAr eaten by myself back in the states, but here I'm just so damn excited to not have Chey trailing me. I'm sure the kid needs a break from me too. Last week the Firemen came by the school. She was excited at first, but then she started acting a lil feisty since we were there. LOL

Another anniversary has come and gone also, October 7 made it a 2 years for us. Seems this year has been the toughest on us so far with schools and now living here (apart). ha.
Hard Rock (Seoul)
Past few weekends we have been keeping busy when he is home. Weekend before last we went to Fall Festival on Yongsan. It was nice, just to have something going on in the community.

Yes, she rode this by herself.

Then Sunday it was off to the Air Show at Osan. It was pretty cool... I got to meet a few people from a local forum (usfkforums.com) although we didn't get any pictures together LOL

.Over the weekend.

The weekend after my birthday, Freedom threw me a little surprise shin-dig. Invited Elle and her husband, we had Jaimelynn and her family come down. Rob was here too. We had a good night, cookouts, Wii time and also Freedom made me a cake.. lol (It's the thought that counts...)

Ok people.. this is what happens when you do not cut the top off the bottom layer. Nuff said.
Oh yes.
Playing the Wii, I know they all look thrilled.
Blowing out the candles.
Rob doing what Rob's best at. Smack-Talk.
Grillin'
Whatever it was, was important.
Chey baby, posin.
And a bonus video from the weekend before...

Happy Birthday to Me....

Well so far its been a rather boring birthday, but hey.. I guess I shouldn't complain much. Turned the big 2-7 today. Wish I had Rachel and my sister here. Freedom stopped by the house for a few to give me my gift (DS and a couple games) which I am really happy about. Seems to have sidetracked me a bit from doing my schoolwork today.. LOL Let's hope that's not a permanent thing.

Over the weekend a friend of mine, Syritha, and her husband Terry came down to Yongsan to see us. Jaimelynn watched Cheyanne for the night so we could go out. Played darts, pool, found a Mexican food restaurant (Which I'm uber happy about), then went to a couple bars. Had a perty dang good time if I must say so myself. So anywho.. first birthday in Korea.
